My buddy and I rent a lodge right on the slopes, where my buddy and I can step out the door & get in line for the lifts.
My buddy and I spend anywhere from one to two weeks skiing during the day & playing board games or watching films in the evening. While my buddy and I used to stay in weird accommodations every year, we’ve found a favorite spot & stuck with it the past four holidays. Our trip lodge is outfitted with comfortable beds, new appliances & amazing water pressure in the showers. My buddy and I have a gorgeous view of the mountains. The best amenity of the lodge is the radiant radiant floors. Our first time in the accommodations, my buddy and I were initially anxious about the lack of any sign of a heater. My buddy and I found temperature controls in each room but no vents or radiators. The entire system is concealed under the floors, taking up no space & causing no disruption to aesthetics. Plus, the operation is totally silent. The heat spreads evenly across the floor & rises truly slowly upward. There are no drafts, cold pockets or stratification. The comfort is especially gentle & cozy. The individual temperature controls control temperature in each certain room, allowing for customized settings. Every family member can tailor comfort to their preferences. Getting out of bed in the afternoon & setting my bare feet on a hot floor feels amazing, however stepping out of the shower onto a hot floor is just lovely. I wish I could have radiant floors installed into my own house.
