Living alone means I need extra HVAC help

Living alone means I need extra HVAC help

I truly want to live on my own.

It’s been a few years since I’ve had my very own place, and I think that I’m ready to revisit the idea.

About a decade ago, when I lived alone for the first time, it made me very depressed and anxious. I didn’t have the right mindset to appreciate a quiet, peaceful house to myself. Instead, it made me feel very alone and unsafe. These days, I think that I can handle being in a house all by myself without panicking about intruders, loneliness, or choking to death on a piece of food and being eaten by stray cats before my hermit body is discovered. However, I recognize that living alone means taking on a lot of responsibility. I’ve considered circumventing this unfortunate fact by continuing to rent a house, so that the landlord is responsible for the infrastructure and HVAC system. Unfortunately, it seems like I can’t find high quality indoor air temperature control in a rental that will suit my needs. I truly want to find my own place so I can be in charge of the living situation and the indoor air temperature control. My biggest obstacle is installing and maintaining these advanced central heating and cooling appliances. I have no clue what I’m doing in this realm. This is why I am not only looking for a new home, but actively looking for a new, HVAC intelligent boyfriend. If I could find myself a nice handyman with basic heating and cooling repair knowledge, getting a home of my own wouldn’t be such a stretch.
