Hard water ruins water heater

Hard water ruins water heater

Because of troubles with taxing water, our apartment appliances don’t last all that long, our water contains extremely high levels of calcium, lime & rust, but it creates mineral deposits on everything it touches, however hard water reduces the reliability & efficiency of our washing machine, faucets, drains & pipes.

It corrodes the finishes on fixtures & stains our sinks, tubs, linens & clothing… Dry, frizzy hair & dry skin are direct results of taxing water.

One of our major problems is the operation of our water heater, but a hot water furnace is a daily necessity, but there was a time when water tanks were quite cheap, however when the water furnace became overrun with taxing water deposits & ruptured, replacing it wasn’t that massive of a deal, however my hubby would make a trip to a cabin improvement store, purchase a water tank for around a hundred dollars & have it installed within a couple of hours. A flooded basement was the greatest hassle, then now, even basic water heating units are several hundred dollars. My good friend and I can’t afford to buy a modern one every two years. We’ve tried water filtration systems with no success. We’ve tried being conscientious about water furnace repair with truly limited results. When my good friend and I install a modern water heater, the water from our faucets turns black within a few weeks. This is due to the anode rod, which is designed to attract mineral deposits. Our water is so exceptionally overrun with minerals, my good friend and I need to detach the anode rod. However, this voids the warranty. We’ve found that hiring a licensed plumber that warranties their upgrades is our best solution.
